In current times our children and teens are more stressed than ever before. As technology advances and presents many modern conveniences, the childhood of today looks much different than childhood a decade ago. Our children and teens are inundated with social pressures, comparison, competition, criticism and judgement not just at school but now 24/7 through social media, texting, FaceTime, youtube, and our generally increasingly paced culture.

As much as parents can and do protect our children and teens from modern pressures and technological influences, your child may still need help. We strive to take the stigma out of asking for help- for both parents and kids - because silently suffering or muscling through is the exact opposite of what we want to see. Too many kids are reaching out for help online and in social media versus having a real connection with a trained therapist who will focus on their unique needs. We work with your child or teen to help them slow down enough to understand what's causing their feelings and behaviors. By identifying what’s going on in their life and what lifestyle patterns have contributed to their struggling, they will learn the tools to feel better, feel more in control, confident and optimistic.

Through our integrative counseling style, we offer psychotherapy for talking through your child or teen’s stressors, yoga therapy to bring calm to their busy body and mind, nutrition to balance their system, and mindfulness meditation to let go of the constant stream of thoughts. You can find solace for your child or teen when they are working with us individually or through any of our workshops or group experiences.
