Meet Kerry…

Who is your ideal client?
I love to work with individuals and teams who are looking to dive deeply into their psyches. I have developed a deeply contemplative way of being with clients that is centered on presence, intuition, and introspection. I love for a client who wants to move past the day-to-day and into the root of their ongoing problems, traumas, and what is keeping them in a stuck cycle.

Why do you like being a therapist?
I love teaching people the tools to unlock their own inner wisdom. Once someone can reconnect to their authentic selves without the noise of trauma, daily stressors, anxieties, and other mood inflictors, they develop such an empowered sense of self that is truly the most beautiful resilience to witness.

What's something you wish people knew about therapy?
My favorite quote about this work - “All problems are psychological, all solutions are spiritual” from Thomas Hora. In my years of facilitating this work, I see that to be whole-heartedly true.

Why can people benefit from therapy?
The most important thing anyone can gain from therapy is self-awareness and with that, a journey back to their true selves. Without an observational lens in which to view our thoughts, behaviors and experiences we remain in a reactive cycle. We must step back in order to learn how we can keep showing up better for ourselves and that ripples into how we show up for everyone. We layer ourselves with defenses to just survive in this world and the work I love to do is to shed those layers and unveil the real you. The real you is not afraid, is at peace and is confident.

What does "success" in therapy look like to you?
Success is an inherent sense of resilience you can steadily rely on. In a practical sense, that means maintenance mode. I do not believe you're ever “done” with therapy, but you can get to a place where you are self-reliant enough to take you through the roller coaster. Then, you check back in for a refresh/reset/whatever you want to call it ;)

What's something you'd like clients to know about you (or how you work)?
I am constantly learning and bringing the newest and best ways to integrate the brain and body for a profound therapeutic experience. We are not your average therapists and what we do here is super special. I love science and this work allows me to stay curious and our clients get the benefit of us always assuming a learning mind.
