Integrative Method: Therapeutic Yoga and Somatic Therapy

Our minds and bodies are connected. What happens in our minds, our bodies feel and what our bodies feel, our minds respond. Therapeutic yoga and somatic therapies combine talk therapy with physical movement to bring about healing and awareness from both mental and physical concerns. 

Therapeutic Yoga and Somatic Therapy have been proven to be very effective in helping process and release trauma, mitigate symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress and is a thoroughly research-supported treatment for pain management, disease management and injury prevention and recovery. Therapeutic Yoga and Somatic Therapy can help clients process and release negative and blocked traumas and emotions stored in the body. Through breathing and individualized physical movement, clients are guided to shift their mindset while allowing the body to feel more safe, calm and ready to let go.
