Where are you located?
We are within the Parkview Professional Building, off of Plymouth Road just short of a mile north of Downtown Plymouth. The building is nestled between Hines Drive and Starkweather Lofts, you'll see an attorney sign on the street. It's easy to miss so be on the lookout for a low-slung brown brick building on the north side of Plymouth Road.
We offer ample paved lot parking and are wheelchair accessible. When you walk inside the building from the front entrance, please use either the stairs in the front lobby or go down the hallway on the left for the elevator.
We are Suite 180, which is halfway down the hallway on the east side of the building on the bottom floor. Please make yourself comfortable, be sure to remove your shoes in our waiting area, and enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, or filtered water and explore our generous client library.
Do you accept insurance?
reset brain + body is an out of network provider for all insurance companies. We believe in a custom treatment approach and therefore choose not to be limited by the diagnostic and treatment plan requirements of insurance companies. Your health and growth are our number one priorities. By remaining independent, we are able to work with our clients in a more robust and creative capacity, by offering online and at-home services, practicing yoga in-session, and having no limits for how often we see you.
We support clients in getting reimbursement from their insurance companies for our services. Talk to your insurance provider and ask if you have out-of-network benefits for mental health services and, if so, at what percentage you will be reimbursed for each session. You may also have out-of-network benefits that would cover all or a percentage of our fees. Most clients report obtaining 60-100% coverage out-of-network. Make sure to contact your insurance company to see if our services are reimbursable.
How do I make an appointment or book a class?
To make an appointment, it is best for you to first call (1-734-531-8563) or email (email@example.com) us so we can determine if we will be a good fit for your needs. We provide you a complimentary consultation to gather your information and answer your questions. You can also book either a complimentary consultation or initial session online using the below form.
To book a group experience, visit our classes + events page to register. Advanced registration is required due to our small class sizes.
What are your rates?
By being out of network, we are able to provide tailored treatment options with you in mind. Our rates reflect that mission.
Payment is due at time of service, applied to your payment method inputted at intake or registration.
Initial Consultation: Free (15 minutes)
$150 (55 minutes)
$125 (45 minutes)
First Session: $165 (55 minutes). The initial session requires the creation of a treatment plan and extensive assessment, therefore we charge a higher rate.
Virtual, phone or video: $150 (55 Minutes)
$250 (55 minutes)
First Session: $300 (75 minutes). The initial session requires the creation of a treatment plan and extensive assessment, therefore we charge a higher rate.
Please note: If the client is a minor, it is expected that a parent sometimes drops in a session; however, routine family sessions with 1 or more family members along with the primary client will warrant a family session rate. Be sure to discuss this with your clinician if you have questions.
Group Therapy, Classes and Workshops
6 Week Therapy Groups:
$225 per person for 6 week group therapy session, 90 minutes at length.
6 Week Class Series:
$135 per person for 6 week class series, 75 minutes at length.
$35 per person for on-site workshops, 90 minutes at length.
For all group services, full payment is due in advance at time of registration.
If less than 3 people are registered for the service at 2 business days prior to the start, the session will be cancelled and all those registered will receive a full refund.
If a registered participant needs to cancel because of their own conflict, please call us to process a refund. No refunds will be granted less than 10 days prior to the start of the program.
Professional Development Trainings + Team Building Events:
On-site, less than 15: starting at $200/hr
On-site, greater than 15: starting at $350/hr
Off-Site, less than 15: starting at $300/hr
Off-Site, greater than 15: starting at $450/hr

Do you offer a sliding scale?
Because we believe in providing care to everyone who needs it, we keep 10% of our case load open for sliding scale and pro-bono clients.
If you are unable to pay the full fee for our services, please call to discuss if we have a current opening in our sliding scale schedule to see you at our lower rate option.
What is the cancellation policy?
All counseling sessions require a 48 hour cancellation notice. You must email or call, texting is not allowed, to inform us of your cancellation. If we are notified prior to 48 hours ahead of your session or are able to reschedule you that same week, the cancellation fee is waived. Failure to give 48 hour notice will result in a fee of the total cost of your session.
For group experiences, we require a 10 day cancellation in order to receive a refund on your registration.
What will my first session be like?
The first session includes completing necessary paperwork, getting to know each other, discussing possible counseling goals and a little about how we will accomplish those goals together.
The first session is also a sort of interview for you to further decide if you feel comfortable with us. This is your counseling and therapy. You control who your therapist is, and it’s important for you to consider whether or not you feel you can accomplish your goals with us.

From our natural cork flooring, serene aesthetics, non-toxic cleaning materials and organic beverages, we truly embrace well-rounded wellness. To keep our space clean and comfortable, we do ask that all clients remove their shoes in the waiting room, so please keep that in mind as you plan for your visit.
How can you help me?
Through personal experiences and working with hundreds of clients, we are convinced of the effectiveness of counseling and have witnessed the positive impact it has on others. For counseling and therapy to work and make a difference in your life, two factors are extremely crucial. The motivation you bring to the work and the relationship with the therapist. Depending on the goals, counseling can assist you with problem solving current challenges, learning new tools to understand and manage emotions and negative thinking, improve communication and relationship skills, increase self-esteem and confidence, overcome chronic pain and sleeplessness, and increase self-awareness and acceptance. Ultimately, counseling will be what you need it to be and we will work together to find the most effective use of therapy and counseling in order to accomplish your goals.
How long will it take to feel better?
Many clients come in with specific goals and we work together to achieve those goals at a pace they feel comfortable with. Other clients are more vague and achieve their goal of feeling better over time. We will give you feedback on an on-going basis on where we think you are in the process. Our hope for you is to be able to use all the skills you have discovered and feel confident to live life on your terms.
How often should I be coming in?
We recommend that you come in every week initially. It helps to develop rapport and get your counseling into a flow. After that, every two weeks seems to work well. After a time, you could come in once a month for maintenance or to have accountability toward your goals. We will work on a plan that makes sense for you.
What are your credentials? How much experience have you had as a therapist? Do you have a specialty?
Our owner, Kerry Biskelonis, has been in the wellness industry for over 10 years. She started her professional experience in fast-paced and competitive downtown Chicago working in human resources consulting and corporate wellness. After witnessing so many of her peers struggling with the impacts of stress on their physical and emotional health, Kerry decided to pursue her clinical counseling degree and yoga certification. Kerry has her Masters in Clinical Counseling from DePaul University is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Michigan and Illinois. She integrates yoga, mindfulness and meditation into her therapeutic work with clients in an accessible, scientific and results-oriented method.
Our other therapists are specially trained in the integration of yoga and healing. Our therapists come from well-rounded backgrounds to focus on your unique needs, ranging from emotional to physical well-being.
reset brain + body as a practice incorporates the research supported practices of mind-body integration for mental and physical health. We work with individuals struggling with chronic stress and the impacts such stress can have emotionally and physically - sleep, anxiety, weight gain, chronic pain, and the pressure those issues put on self-esteem, relationships and focus. We have had tremendous success working with teenage clients as well as adults. We especially enjoy working with clients who are looking to take accountability and make changes in their lifestyle so they can continue to heal independently.

I am not flexible! Do I have to do yoga? What do I have to wear?
Yes, this is a common concern! At reset brain + body, yoga is used as a tool but is completely optional. We have many clients who just like who we are and what we do and choose to follow a traditional talk-therapy model. You may want to sit on a yoga mat while talking, but you do not have to engage in any yoga if you do not want to. However, we hope that as time goes on and you feel more comfortable, you will decide to explore how simple yoga poses, mindfulness exercises and meditation can simply elevate your treatment goals. Unless your treatment plan dictates yoga that would benefit from comfortable clothing, you can wear your street clothes to counseling. We do ask that all clients remove their shoes in the waiting room to keep our space clean and comfortable, so please keep that in mind as you plan for your visit.
