I've always been drawn to the stories people tell: about themselves, about others around them, and about the world they inhabit. In my previous work as a language and literature teacher and in my current work a therapist, I’ve come to understand the importance of our narratives, and I believe that therapy is about reframing and reclaiming our own stories. I want to hear the narrative you’ve crafted and my goal for our time together is for your story to reflect who you want to be in this world.
I work with clients 12+ navigating anxiety, disordered eating and eating disorders, body image disturbances, life transitions, school stress, and difficulty completing tasks. I'm a trauma-informed provider, and I approach every client through an anti-racist, feminist, gender-affirming, and Health At Every Size lens, which means I'm attentive to the broader social forces that impact your life and I never treat them as something to be corrected.
Therapy can be vulnerable, challenging work and I’m honored to be vulnerable and human alongside you. After all, it's a privilege to be entrusted with your story and I take that responsibility seriously, especially as I continue to write my own. So, where should we begin?
