Meet Blaise…

Who is your ideal client?
I enjoy working with high school and young adult clients. My ideal client is traditionally an athlete or those with an athletic background. I work well with individuals who are high-achieving and goal-oriented. This includes those who may feel stuck and anxious now but at their core are motivated to work together on meeting their goals.

Why do you like being a therapist?
It is a privilege to share space and be a part of a client's personal journey.

What's something you wish people knew about therapy?
Therapy is about your personal journey, growth, and development. You are the expert of your life, I help provide perspective, education, and skill building to assist you in making meaningful changes towards your goals.

Why can people benefit from therapy?
Therapy offers a unique space to step back, breathe, and observe the ongoings of life that usually go unnoticed. In session, people are free to explore thinking patterns and beliefs without the fear of judgement.

What does "success" in therapy look like to you?
"Success" is personal to each individual. For me "success" is about the process and growth. Learning methods and strategies to not only improve your immediate set of circumstances but to continue to explore self-awareness and develop throughout life beyond therapy.

What's something you'd like clients to know about you (or how you work)?
My strong interest in working with athletes or folks with athletic backgrounds comes from my own experience as an athlete and athletic coach. With this experience, I lean towards setting goals with clients to try and work on skills outside of the therapy session. Additionally, I involve mindfulness and meditation practices in sessions.
