Trust in Joy (Dating Lena): Putting Your Mind & Body At Ease | A Meditation with Kerry Biskelonis

“I built this practice because it’s what I needed, and still need. To slow down. To have someone offering clarity, support and accountability. To quiet the noise. To feel validated and connected. To share my experiences with others who can say “me too”. To not feel so alone. To feel okay asking for help, even for the “little things”. Because the little things add up. The more we bottle it in, the harder it gets. So we must learn how to release. To let the pressure and stress go. To heal our traumas, anger, pain and suffering. We have to do the work and thankfully we have a pretty awesome team that can help with that. Whether you’re age 12 to 112, a parent, teenager, business owner, employee, educator, student. So welcome to Reset, where I hope you find exactly what you need and more.”
Kerry Biskelonis, founder and clinical director of Reset Brain and Body

This episode is a throwback to last summer. I [Lena] attended an event at a park that was the collaboration of Reset Brain and Body, Citizen Yoga and The Barre Code. We did barre, yoga and then meditated. It was a perfect Midwest summer night—warm, but not too hot, fireflies, but no mosquitos! Kerry Biskelonis, owner of Reset Brain and Body, led a visualization that is unlike any kind I've experienced.

Also unusual for a community event, was being put in groups (of strangers) and talking about it afterwards.

I ask her to do the same meditation (meditation at 8:09) in this episode because it's so good! It'll put your mind and body at ease. Listen when you have time to close your eyes!
