My ideal client is someone who is ready to continue the work of healing even if the only formal step you've done is schedule and then attend your first therapy session. Many of my clients are navigating complex challenges such as their romantic relationships, work woes, navigating their Black racial identity, deconstructing their faith while exploring their spirituality, connecting to social issues, sexuality/gender identity/gender expression exploration, struggling with parenting, and/or resisting imposter syndrome and the like. As a U.S.-born Nigerian and Black woman therapist, I recognize the importance of representation in mental health spaces and am committed to offering a supportive, affirming, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore, heal, and grow.
As a trained yoga therapist, my approach is holistic and tailored to each client's unique needs. I integrate talk therapy with trauma-centered, integrative modalities such as mindfulness, guided meditation, breath work, and somatic practices—recognizing that the body holds trauma and healing often requires more than words. Therapy with me is compassionate and direct; I meet clients where they are, genuinely rooting for their growth while encouraging self-worth and healthier decisions. Success looks different for everyone, but at its core, it’s about knowing your worth and living in alignment with that inner knowing.
